Nissan P12 PN-2598F Secure

A quick question guys. I have a faulty CY100 (PN-2598F) from a 2003 Primera. A replacement radio produces "Secure" on the screen. Is it as simple as cloning the 93c46 from the original to the new set. Just thought I'd ask before I tackle it tomorrow.

Yep, cloning just the eeprom worked.

hello, i have a problem with this type of radio. it says secured, tried to swap the eeprom, but probably it is not from original car too, tried to modifie dump, write 00 00 00 00 to reset it to virgin, to auto adopt to nats. nothing worked, but the most interesting thing is that buttons dont work even. i cant enter any menu, even climate control. could the buutons be the fault? tried to replace fuse n9. did not help. i have a nissan consult. :) many thanks for help :)

eprom is L46 :)
