hi, im trying to adjust mileage in a A3 of 2008 with micronas, the r250 stop and now dash its dead, its possible repair him?

desolder oscillator and try again with r250 if it can connect to dash. if not you have killed the micronas. sometimes this happens with cloned rosfar :D

Did you put the resistor back on and also in the correct location ??? and plug back into car ???

has nothing to do with the resistor...

It can be sorted in 5 min with VAG DASH if some 1 can lend you mate.

if cloned rosfar ****ed up the mcu you will do nothing via OBD or any other tool. would love to see how damaged hw can be repaired by OBD :D

have you tried what I have suggested? If rosfar damaged the micronas you cannot connect with any tool in the world as the micro has some electrical damage. You can only replace the micro in that case.

so if rosfar cannot connect, micronas is broken. search for replacement dash

Have you tried A3 2005 and 2006 with vagprog? I tried it 5 times with different cars no luck :-)

It cannot be empty. If it is really empty vag-com wouldn't detect anything. you will need xprog or similar tool to read login from "new" micronas. then you have to get login from ecu and adapt everything again.

I finally can do Km correction on A3 2008 with U$65 R250 clone.
The way is being so careful in soldering, removing the jumper (and resolding when finished), and most important, doing "exe123" says: to remove the oscilator. The read/write operation took considerable time (about one min), but successful.
