Hi, i hav a customer with RB4 dash, evrything is fine on it apart from MPH needle not working, mileage is going up as normal.

Could it be a dump problem?

I think its the little motor for needle,
chech with some Vag diagnostic , do test
Vag Com, VCDS, Vas, Bosch...maybe you have something of this

If you have had the needle off, check that it's not been pushed on too far ?

hi! you need to replace shaking motor if you don't have new one remove the motor open it ll see the little gear in it use the crazy glue stick it on the needle but you have to calibrate after
not that easy job gl)

Why would he need needle motor as Z786 has already said he can drive speedo diagnostically?????

I just add new option to DeJaVu, so You can try several dump's very easy, just crypto part will be taken from working dump and other part from second dump.
You can try, if You download new version.

In Your case i still belive, that cluster have in pcb something bad or some mcu or ic is faulty. If You want i can try repair it.

What a FANTASTIC name for a milage IN-correction tool, D?j? vu - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9j%C3%A0_vu) - Somebody's been here before.

Does the latest version in the blank hex data
"Oh no, clocked again"??

Thanks

Meat.
