vw golf 2005 no washers

got a golf in today failed nct due to non working windscreen washer on front,cant find a fuse listed for it lol,no power going down to pump and logged faults when using the switch front and rear,if you pull back to wash screen wipers work,fuse box is at side of drivers door on dash,not had time to check switches yet:banghead:

Hi Cactikid

Check to see if the heater blower is working. If not, there is a relay fitted (bottom right) in the onboard supply control unit that might not be operating.

there is two relays (double washer pump relay 1 404 (slot B7 on onboard supply control unit, and double washer pump relay 2 position B8.) have a look at those relays. both production numbers 404. cant find to figer out elsawin. that specific cercuit is in german language. hope this helps friend.

cheers there are 3 relays with same number,swapped all around no joy ,but rechecked fuse box again to the side of dash,who the hell makes a fuse you cant probe with a tester lol had to visibley look at each all ok.
checked the other empty holders,2 missing fuses lol,washers and rear wiper which blows when inserted and it never worked
so happy customer again,cheers folks even the simple things get missed.
