I checked my serial number and it says i most likely have GC2-D2C. I opened Wii and on rear of DVD drive the chip reads GC2-D2C. I ordered a D2Ckey with clip but it will not work. I will not play my originals until I remove the mod. Could I have damaged the pins? I want to order another one - what is most recommended? Cheers in advance.

I would go for D2PRO myself. Try these guy Nintendo Wii Modchips & DS Homebrew Cards (http://www.umodfo.com) very helpful. just email your serial number and they'll sort everything for you.

Wiikey2 has never failed me mate. I always route clock wire G away from the oscillator and NEVER had any eject issues.
