ive got a ford fiesta 2003 with the new style 3 bit cd player my question is how do i get the serial number to come on the display screen so i can then calculate this ? i mean otherwise its take half the dash out to see serial number ? mnay thanks

u need to remove it and give us the m***** code off it

If it happens to be the Ford 4500 RDS, give this a try ... power on radio... press preset [6] , then preset [2].. the serial number should be displayed.

No promises, never tried it out... so feedback would be helpful.

i know theres a way to do it without removing the cd player it involves pressing numbers just dont know which ones.

yes that worked great thanks serial flashed up on display saves a great deal of work taking all the fasia of thanks again.
