Hi everyone,

How can I get the pin code for a 2006 Jetta immo IV?

Do I need to read and post dash dump or is VIN enough or do I post VCDS challenge id...

Thanks!!!

VIN: 3VWNF71KX6M611511

Post your dump from ecu or dash.

Hi,

here is the dump from ecu (engine computer)

06A 906 032 QE
BOSCH 0 261 208 553
eeprom 95160

Just to let you know that the engine was changed but this is still the original ecu from this car.

Thanks!!

whats the reason for needing the pin code then. not a easy control unit to work with. even if you do have the right pin. vcds will not allow you to do adaptations. if have tried it before without any success friend. wish you luck.

Thanks for reply but pin didn't work. I should of been more specific. I'm trying to recode the key.
I don't know what to do with this car... I don't know much about VW..

According to the owner, the engine was changed and now the car won't start anymore.
Immo says engine blocked by immobilizer.

It seems like ecm and cluster are all original to the car..
attached is the scan of both modules.

have a look in rmvb 81 ecu and cluster to confirm the vin number and vw is the same friend. what is your engine number.

might wanna try 03961, which is adress $32,33 and $42,43 of your dump. ( I?m not sure of this, but you could give it a shot)

What management systemis it exactly, ME 7.x.x?

Thank you! The pin code was accepted. But when I go to [Adaptation - 10]
Enter 001 in "Channel Number".
I get: error ch 01 not available. (see attachment) (and the writing "ch 01 not available" flickers continuously)
I checked all channels up to 60, same issue.

Dose anyone have any more ideas? (there is an option to reset to factory defaults.. would that help?)

Thank you!!!

ME 7.1.1

look here and read carefully:
Immobilizer IV Key Matching - Ross-Tech Wiki (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Immobilizer_IV_Key_Matching)

p.s. you are in Mexico, or was this engine exported to other countries?

I left the car till next day and retried with same pin code 03961 and it worked! VCDS let me re-adapt the key. Thank you to all for your great help! Thank you Teuton! :)

Car started! Post closed.
