If programming via OBD, you need a precoded transponder ID40 Silca Crypto, no blank7935.

did you have ICC to read code from dump of transponder?
i need to recode the ecu because its become vergin i dont know whay!!

Y17DT - Delco?
If ECU lost PIN code and coding you must open and change 25c320 eeprom.

Will desoldering chip 25c320 eeprom from faulty ECU and soldering it to second hand ECU allow me to use original security pass code? Or is the ECU immo stored in other places as well?
Also can I read the ECU data/map with galletto or opcom. Or is this ECU write only? Thanks

lupu_sandu

If you swap 25c320 eeprom, you will have second ECU faulty, because eeprom is damaged.
You need to read second ECU eeprom in order to find pin code.
With galletto you can read/write Y17DT ecu's.

so if you or any other member has a dump off a ecu, he can use this, their code and opcom, save the day, but be covered in snot and have sore eyes?

what do you read eeprom with?
so with galletto can you 'clone' an ecu?
so if a customer comes in and they have their code, suck out the data and use it on another one?

thsanks

1. Wellon, beeprog, willem, upa, you got the idea;
2. No, galletto read only flash, on this ECU immo, keys, coding is in eeprom;
3. You must have both codes (old ecu, new ecu) in order to program on car.
3.1 If you don't have old pin you can read thru obd2 - carprog, abrites commander, smok crash eraser cand read this.
3.1.1 If you don't have new pin same as 3.1
3.2 If your old ECU lost sync, codinc etc you must read TMS inside immobox to find old pin code.

All this info is related only to Y17DT

It's become virgin, because of your battery ...
Did you had any trouble code, ex. P0602 Control Module Programming Error?

lupu_sandu

BEST WAY TO DESOLDER eeprom is to desolder from one side the pins one by one . after that the other side is like a game.

hi Lupu,

1. can i read it in circuit ?

2.if i read and edit the old pin in the eeprom of the new ecu, the engine will start without any coding with opcom.

3. if yes can you please send me the adress of the pin in 25c320.

4.thanks.

I suppose that if you'll use a Hot Air Rewark station you'll have the best choice.
I have a cheap one Luckey 850 but it is a very good one, but you can choose a beter one Luckey 852D.
Ok there other ones better than this, you have to try
Good luck

M8 I can unsolder an IC with more then 38 - 44 pins in 3-5seconds.
Take care how you set the hot temperature and the mass asir flow.
it is very important.
Try again and you'll see that you'll do it
Good luck

hot air station do not work in this hybrid ecu ,you may damage the ecu .
if you use screwdriver you will may damage the ecu .

one way is to use two irons but you have two arms .
the best way is to desolder one side and after the second .
another way is to desolder the pins in the edges and after the the rest.
you can you needles for help to desolder every pin .

maximux time to desolder the chip is 4 minutes
other ways will take you much more time.

Before i warm up the all ecu from outside with gas torch or big heater, when its around 100 C i use the heater to desoldering the eeprom.

hi guys look at this
25c320 read ok but write bad in circuit mode WP pin 3?
new 95320 intalled too complex and neighbor component destroy before all with test clip check the images!!
morning test with op-com and post the result

1 test clip no space in this model of ECU
2 in circuit mode bad write x-prog clone
3 original 25c320 destroy on minimun temperature
