the correct procedure for removing fap is this: clear errors in diagnosis (if present before removal fap), electronically and physically remove the fap and disconnect the temperature sensor.

ESER

ELSA tells two sensing transducers

carmageddon
31st March, 2011, 12:06 PM
2 sensor is

-emissions temperature sensor (before diesel partic.filter) G448
-emissions temperature sensor (before turbocharger)
G235

must be disconnected G448 because is dependent on the fap

aftef filter is present only differential pressure sensor, thermal sensor its only before filter

After the turbocharger before the DPF you have 2 sensors and 1 plug for differential pressure.
After the DPF you have 1 sensor and 1 plug for differential pressure.
Thermal sensors are 1 before DPF and 1 after DPF, as the pressure plugs 1 before DPF and 1 after DPF.
Red plug is thermal sensor between turbocharger and DPF, orange plug is thermal sensor after DPF.

So what which would you suggest to unplug on PPD? First sensor between turbo and DPF, second sensor between turbo and DPF or the sensor after DPF or both or also disconnect differential-pressure that you see near EGR?

TRY this and report !

It seems just made with ecusafe 2.0 and it will not work. It will give no limop-mode, no MIL light on but every 400/500 km engine will sound loud and car will smoke much for 5minutes more or less.

PPD does statistic regeneration at 1000km or more. In order to tell that it is working you need to cover this distance.

is this Essential on this car ? just recently had same issue, Occasional excessive smoke at idle after physical & sw removal, no matter what we tried, customer wasnt happy and i lost a job because of not knowing or trying this, Anyone confirm please, as seem to get allot of Audi 2.0 170ps with dpf removals, want to make sure 100% i dont get this problem again, and if so wish my tuner told me to disconnect,

2 sensor is

-emissions temperature sensor (before diesel partic.filter) G448
-emissions temperature sensor (before turbocharger)
G235

must be disconnected G448 because is dependent on the fap
