I have VAS 5054A (not chinese)..i dont know what do You men about recode becose a car is a 2008 year and ,like them told me,everything is done only by authorized dealer (by online suport directly from AUDI).

Hmm possible as i know some stuff is done via online support but not sure if this is one of them maybe someone else can advise on it or try asking in radio section asking for possibilities for cancheck to be turned of on the changer

only online via audi. or you try to find a way via eeprom/mcu in changer.

4 example cd-changer 4E0 035 111 have inside 93l66. in this case simply remove this memory and put changer to car, it will work well. in clima modules u can find 95160,there is lots of datas, u must use other trick.

93c86 from 0x600 to 0x7ff stored info about cp. simply paste data from old unit. but Comfort 46 & airbag 15 is crazy. there help nothing. just online

Just tried the no eeprom at all in CD changer without MP3 and it works flawlessly.
