Oh was under the impression that advertising your own products or servives is nil poi, but helping other forum members is fine?

several ways at looking at that. (ASSUMING THESE MEMBERS ARE SELLERS)

1) if you have a problem, you can do a thread and slag them off (check
with management first)

2) You can sent them a PM or visitor msg and know it has got there!

3) If you look at that website i didn't advertise they list consulat 4!

4) I have PM'd a 'member' (think about it) as at M-H-M we would like
to buy the "sideward facing foo-foo valve tester" they have on offer

This is my understanding to, however we watch over replies to posts and review the posters previous posts and we if think they are acting suspicious they go on the watchlist and from there to the shitlist.
Some are very easy to spot others not so easy, some work alone, others work in small groups, might take a while but we get them eventually.

Can't find the relevent post to confirm, but on the banned members list is "Barwick test supplies" (warrick test supplies?) they ploughed in and said

"our test leads cost $xxx and work for this and that" -FAIL

but had a member said "got a problem with this circuit board"
and another member said "barwick test supplies have the lead you need
for $xxxx" is fine??

but blatant advertising is whats not so good .....there are sellers on this forum for all sorts of stuff but not many advertise
