HI

I have problem with immo off to CLIO II D DCU3R.
I have read AT25C08, I use immokiller to immo off, I have cut pin 20, I have cut pcb to pin 3 from 25C08 and solder pin 3 and 4.The car start first time but don't work next time...
When I read 25C08 file have changed...
Idea?

hello. Use renault immo emulator for immo off or recode immo pin code in ecu.
DCU3R don't work
without immobilizer code stored in memory

Check the status register of 25C08.
See the datasheet, 100% tested solution.

I have UPA USB.
How I can check status with this?
Could you explain?

UPA-USB can do it.
Look at the buttons on the right side of UPA screen. You have Read, Verify, Program and Blank check.
Just beneath them you have a space for the status register value and two more buttons: Read Status Register and Write Status Register.
Read your status register value, add hex 0C (or dec 12) and write a new value. That way you make the whole eeprom area write protected.
(Put all PCB pins back to normal!)
If you're unsure, just write your value here, I'll tell you your new value. Hope this helps. :)

I must put all PCB pins back to normal?

he means to left any pin just put the pcb as normal.

Yes, no need to cut any pins, or to solder them together.

I UNDERSTAND.....
But I already changed the PCB, so my question is if I can let the modif.OK?
Or if I am obliged to put at the normal.

Well, just try and you'll see.
If your car started for the first time before, I think you are not obligated to mod-back the PCB.
So, try and report back...

SOLVED

I test with it and it is good.
THANKS very much for all.

My status register is 00, what should i put to make it protected?

that is not good solution because if any problem occured with engine control, ECU will not be able to save DTC's in memory, the best solution is to verginise and use emulator...

Really?? :O
DTCs are stored in the eprom then?

Anyway,
should i put 0C to the status register to make it protected?

usually the errors are stored there, in 1.9 dti engine it also has this problem if do the same solution and not using an emulator...
send files to see what modifications you made, in principle for this ecu should be a way to do immo off in 25C080

Here you go,

My question is, is the 0C the status register that i should put it to make it protected?
