Does anybody have access to the Detroit mainframe at all? I'm not wanting any login/password information but possibly just the ability to request information from someone who has access if given an engine serial number. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Oh I've searched. There's a bunch of DDEC threads but nothing specifically for Detroit flash files or mainframe access. That's why I started this one in hopes of getting some people to respond through here. Calling out to all big kahunas! :laugh:

That is a dealer only item. Guys that work in the shop get there own password. I have one for Cummins quick serve International server and one for Caterpillar. They give them to guys but they are kept personal for work use. So my guess is you wont find anyone willing to share that.

Well I wasn't looking for the actual login information. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that had access to it in case I needed questions that could be looked up via engine serial number. Nobody has responded yet so I'm assuming not many people on here even have access... Damn that Detroit and their top notch security :laugh:

There is a tool called DET (Detroit Engineer Tool) it can help to register DDRS offline, change level to engineering and important thing is to change Computer ID, so you can borrow login from dealer or friend use his ID and registration to access servers.
More:) there is tool called Detroit Drumroll File Encryptor/ Decryptor to edit downloaded calibration files.

You can download it only if you have working login.

he cant give you his ID and pass....because he need pay for that ...acces to dddc server is not easy because ...all flash or info you get from dealer server is under check every day ....I know ..if you give the authentical pass and id to other people with same computer ID ..but with other IP adress central ddc.co will cut that suscription ...Ive seen ...is easy to tell a friend with access to server that get flash files 4 u...

Serials, downloaded from mainframe with DRS, are usually at C:\Detroit Diesel\DDEC Reprogramming System\ ... you can either copy whole folder, or there are two subfolders C:\Detroit Diesel\DDEC Reprogramming System\cal and C:\Detroit Diesel\DDEC Reprogramming System\unit... . Those subfolders have all files necessary, to reprogram serial number back to ECM.

i coppied entire folder from c-detroit deisel,ddec reprogrammin system. after downloading serial #. i found file in Unit folder but once i copied entire folder onto flash drive. i uploaded onto a different computer files in Unit folder are not shown. reconnected flash to programming station and files are in flash but i cannot see them in another computer. so try out let me know how it goes. o6R1999999 and the one u askedme for.

For a Ddec 6 cal where can it be found wat folder is it found when downloaded from mainframe
