Hi!

Can someone please remove the speed limiter on M5 E39 year 2000 and do the checksum?

Here are the original files (flash 1 & 2).

Thanks!

Used to stop at 250...

Did nearly same mod, but goes in safe mode and "ECU program..." on tacho display.
Will try your file and report.

Thanks!

Maybe you had a CHK problem.

What did you read the file with? CMD?

I made chksum, with software and manually but not OK.

I read it with magpro2.

OK, if you still get an error, the read may be of a bad size for true CHK correction.

It's lo-hi which is unusual format to read over OBD, same as the chip. Everything I have over OBD is hi-lo

Format is similar to CMD, which has full sizes, but mostly empty apart from a part read in the middle.
Other tools make a single file with just the part read from each chip together.

magpro2 make 3 files lo-hi and the alli in one file 32kb.
If needed, I can post it.

Perfect, let me have the all in one, and then try both versions, and see if the double file is better.
