anyone know any program that can convert avi, mkv or mpeg to .dvr so we can watch films on our openboxes via the usb stick? Thanks...

Avs media converter is meant to work, iv never tried it so I can't say for definite

looked on the AVS website...they do a video converter but it doesnt convert to .dvr...I suspect we need to find out exactly what the format used by Openbox is in terms of codecs, compression and frames per second and work it out from that...I am sure there's a genius out there who could analyse a.dvr file and figure it out maybe?

I gave up and bought a Cyclone Primus Media Player...it's great, plays all my avi's, mkv, mpegs, divx, jpegs, mp3s etc and has freed up space on my pc...recommended !

think mp4 files play,i havn't checked yet but will do and post back....need to convert a divx first.
