LCD Display Screen for vdo speedometer

anyone know were i can get or have some made LCD Display Screen for vdo speedometer????

it is a LCD screen with a ribbon cable attached to it

it is a universal one you can buy some kenworth trucks come standard with them

i still have not been able to find these i have some photos to show and some actually have a number on them but i can not seem to find them anywhere

flex drive agencies, or insparts in australia sell them, one of them does anyway. I have seen them on ebay, and you can get them from VDO.

But, here is the fun part. you can get any vdo branded speedo, or tachhour meter and remove the lcd from them and install it in you kw speedo for around 1/2 the price. it is the same p/n

from experiance, heating them up allows you to remove them without smashing them, but if you find a 4" gauge, you can use the whole plastic mount and swap your kw face over......
