Dear all,
i've downloaded & installed inpower 8 using the following on
HP g62 laptop running xp
1: Backup: D: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Cummins Shared \ Power Generation\ bv_ui.dll and bvpwg.dll
2: Replace : bv_ui.dll and bvpwg.dll with downloaded files
3: Register InPower with activation code in downloaded text file
4: Replace: \ Program Files \ Power Generation \ Shared \ Data \ Inp_pf.bin with downloaded file
5: Restore: D: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Cummins Shared \ Power Generation\ bv_ui.dll and bvpwg.dll with backups of original files

when trying to recalibrate PCC 1301 , 1302 PROGRAM STOPS SUDDENLY IN THE MIDDLE OF RECALIBRATION CAUSING THE PCC FAILURE & BECOMES UNCONNECTABLE

IT WORKS FINE WITH PCC 2100 & 3201

KINDLY NEED YOUR HELP

You are connected to PCC 1301 through interface RS-485?

yes i'm using RS485 TO RS232 CONVERTER WHEN CONNECTING TO PCC 1301

ANY IDEA ?

I can be mistaken. In the scheme of connection RS-485 to TB2-1 (GND) and TB2-5 (WAKE UP UNIN) it is necessary to establish a crosspiece.

There is a Cummins cable for PCC 130x that connects the base board and the display to InPower, I have posted the part number in one of the InPower threads, I will find my cable and get the number if you need, It will be a couple of days before I can do that though.

i'm already using cummins cable that connects the base board or display to inpower & by the way the part number i used when
ordered cable from cummins CU 541 - 1199

on the other hand i was already using the same cable and worked fine with previous version of inpower on pcc130x

DEAR ALL,

I;VE FIGURED THAT THE PROBLEM IS IN HP G62 LAPTOP
HENCE I USED ANOTHER LAPTOP AND EVERYTHING WORKED FINE .

Glad you got it sorted out, my cable is part number 0338-4590, it connects the base board and the display to the PC at the same time.
