Wis-Epc installation....help!

hello! Thank you for the help to install xentry/das program!!
I must install wis-epc program...i have these files:

How i can install these program? It's a normal installation?

Go to the ewa-folder and run setup.exe.

How do you define "normal installation"? To me it is a normal EWA NET installation, usually smooth but sometimes quite bumpy. Do you have all the DVDs? Remember to install the databases too. It helps a lot if you search for installation instructions from the forum.

This was difficult to interpret, can restate that.

Are you after DAS/Xentry installation (a different guide available from the forum for this) or WIS and EPC for a Star computer (with DAS and Xentry)? For the latter, follow EPC installation as from the EWA NET guide and for WIS NET Standalone, run SDSwitch.exe from the DVD root.

2am in Serbia now and idea ;) My bets is that you have some newer version of WIS EPC. You need to have version 2010/5 as basic disks then you will be able to install.

If I am right about version of program it is a very big chance that I am also right about way to solve your problem.

Are you considering the change of the installation files from the DVD image? This should work but is unnecessarily complex.

epc 01.2011
wis 01.2011

i have installed with success ( i believe ) xentry/das 01.2011 follow zoolokas's video

now i want to install wis and epc program....how can I do?

and this morning i am tried to make a diagnosis to mercedes car but it says error 1.2 communication with multiplexer...

on notebook i have a usb converter to serial port
sdscan says Hardware not found

How i can solve?

i am cursing a stupid thief that have stolen my ibm notebook..... :)

Don't blame the thief being stupid if he took the old IBM laptop, he must be very clever actually. :D

The referred thread helps with EPC installation but instead of searching for the start.html file from the DVD root, start from the ewa setup.exe.

SOLVED!! i have ran cal872.exe and now the tool work!
Now remain epc and wis program
in working :)

Already told you last night and I was right ;) You should first install 2010/5 version cause 2011/1 are just updates. Can't run without 2010/5 installed. And yes you can start from setup.exe as DB_member said.
