Who uses the Home Page

How actually uses the Home (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/index.php) page?

I'm thinking about getting rid of it.

The main url would simply take you to the forums.

I too am nosy and like to see who is on but dont use it too often . if it is not there then you can't miss it.

My bookmark takes me to the home page, I then browse from there.
Some other sites that I log into takes me straight to forums but their home pages are cr*p anyway, unlike this one ;).

lol im going to tell everyone aftermaths little secret. mr math didnt even use the forums page for ages because he didnt know it existed, he used to do all his browsing from the home page, once he found out he set his homepage to the forum page.


as for me i dont use it, i can see who,s online by scrolling to the bottom of the forums page.

i understand some like it but the question was do you use it and my answer is no i dont. :)

What's the point of the Homepage exactly?

Is it just a Welcoming page with some forum news bulletins?

I reckon that if there is important forum news then there should be a mandatory pop-up as soon as u log in.

By mistake i was always logging on the homepage, now i dont use it anymore.

I think the home page is great - I use it to navigate to the various forums.

the page being discussed here is now called the Portal. that used to be the main home page but i changed it a while ago.
