Does anyone own or recommend the WR-AR2317 54Mbps eXtended Range Wireless Router.
I am on Virgin cable Broadband.
I have a desktop and two laptops that I want to network.
Seems to be ok reading about it, don't know anything about the reliability etc.
Just wanted anyones experience or other recommended ones.

Not experienced with that router its self but since I don't think it'll hurt to give you my views anyway, here I go. I've used the wrt54gl and it's a great router and to my knowledge its still one of the linksys rotuers that they didn't downgrade without mentioning (they were halfing the ram and flash on some without saying anything). You'll find that most people are very happy with the wrt54g range, they are great routers. But in general, you don't often go wrong with linksys kit.

Anyway the wikipedia artcle on the wrt54g range tells you the specs of the different models Linksys WRT54G series - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linksys_WRT54G_series)

Hopefully a few more people will give their view.

Thanks for your views.
As it turned out I had a change of mind and went for the Linksys WRT54G2.
Been using it for a week or so and I've found it is excellent for my needs.
It's smalland need and gives a very good signal strength.:top:
