Hi i have removed this eeprom from tdi ecu, I am new to this, I have broken the legs as i did not have hot air to melt the glue under the chip.
Can you please direct me to where i can purchase new ones.
I have attached a photo.
Also what programmer should i buy to read and write them in future.

It's standard 24C02.
I think It should be in every electronic store.
Programmer:
I use XPROG-M (clone) very good and cheap tool.

u can also find it in some memory module RAM. next time use HOT AIR to make it easy and without any damage.

I use xprog-m v5.0 (clone) and I try to write 24c02 but without success and I receive ERROR message every time!
Know someone what happen?
This problem i have too with 93lc66b!

It's standard 24C02.

Correction it's a was standard 24C02
Now a 2 leg conversion.
If your desprate go rob a old household cordless telephone base unit
most have them in - or 24C32!

Bosch eeproms dont erase. You just write over them. Have you used your xprog to read and write eeproms before? or have you had this problem since you brought it?

I used xprog in the past Only to read this eeproms (ST) and without problems!

just use UPA, its the master with these little eeproms, its never failed me yet and god knows how many hundreds i have read so far with it. XProg-m (Original) is a great programmer but for these little eeproms the UPA kicks its ass IMO

Hi!
Problem solved!
I used for read/write this eeprom (in circuit) Soic 8 test clip adapter and the contact between them is very bad, or bad adapter ! I was read and verify but i can't read!
