Cat SIS help needed

I have some work to do on a 3412 genset and thought that rather than, as I usually do, get bits of info as needed from my local Cat agent would try to get a manual. I then found that the complete SIS appeared to be available to download. I do not have a fast enough internet connection to download it myself so asked a friend who is into music and film file sharing to try for me. He spent a week downloading and found that the files would not open. He is reaaly peed off that he has wasted his time.
Is there anyone, preferably in the South West of UK, who is willing to help me to get these files onto dvds? If so please pm me and we can discuss what is necesary.
