Mercedes C220 dash+EZS

Hi, One question, Can i change km in dashboard without changing on EZS, in other words is Dashboard independent?
I saw someone who says something about flashing ,so is there any explanation for it?

I have digimaster 2, it has odo socket connector, Can it be adjusted without touching EZS?
