hi to all i need to replace key on 2005 golf ,can system.can i extract pin from edc then adapt can transponder.some thing tells me there is more to it than that.sorry no more details at moment

what ECU inside? What model of golf normal, or plus? When You get PIN It should be possible program with diagnostic software but with 5min waiting time.

You need precoded for VW transponder too.

I think you will find that precoded transponders were introduced on golf cars after 2006 or 2007.

Sorry nazz, but You talking about precoded VW transponder for car, and I talk about precoded transponder for brand. After 06 is precoded for brand and for car, and before cars with full CAN have only brand precoded.
