i have aLG PLASMA 600Hz (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=196259) can use sky hd box to turn up the hz to 600 :afraid::afraid::afraid::afraid::afraid::afraid:

Btw, 600 Hz is marketing BS. Its just refreshing the same image several times.

Its to do with refresh rate and response times. there is a good explanation here and why in reality 600Hz is marketing shame to counter marketing shame from LCD makers where higher refresh rates are required to counter motion blur and ghosting (something that plamsa are quite good at avoiding in the first place)

BTW, I also have a 600Hz plasma from LG, as far as I can see there is no difference in motion blur and refresh between my screen and non-600hz plasma's
