Hi guys,
Is it possible rewrite the VIN code in the used ABS unit by the CAN-CLIP?

I don't think its possible......Why what happens if you just live the Vin Number which is in it........

I am OPEN the modul ABS Laguna II i have look,
i'am found Eeprom 95042 i'am read and open in no have VIN, I think the information VIN is STORED in MCU ATE PROCESSOR TMS ;)

Good Luck for read the MCU.

hi, post dump of eeprom of ABS, eeprom should be 95160

Hello in ABS is not EPROM 95160 is used in BLOC ABS Megane III Laguna III and other model not used in Laguna II

Look this is file ABS eprom 95042 i'am read this in model 95040 (my tool CARPROG ORIGINAL)

you can change vin in abs using clip by obd port' I've done it myself on 2007 laguna 2

You can not edit the clip.
Once set up the VIN it is impossible to go back to change or modify.
It is possible just once, when the new case and, if needs fixing virgin to do the clip.

If you want to change the VIN you need to reprogram the ecu and after that you write the VIN but the little Pb is that you need after sale code

Hi

I have a question..............Why would one like to change the Vin Number in ABS Module............What will it effect if the Vin Number does not match with the Vehicle..................


I have change many ABS on Renaults also have changed UPC but, never changed the Vin Number nor had any fault codes for Vin Number mismatched...............:top:

So, is there any good reason to change the Vin Number................:cheer:
