BMW M35080 ERASE procedure?

Is there any way to change mileage in this chip without M35080 eraser? I read somewhere that it can be erased , but didn't understand how (something about adding or pooling 5v on chip)?????

I have M35080 programmer chinese ,but dont want to mess something up, I heard that it can erase chip without changing mileage.:stoned: Car is E46 2003.

Please help .Need info on this .
Is there any instructions on how to read, erase and program with new km value?

if it is 35080 3 or 35080 6, it can be erased with any programmer that supports 35080

if it is 35080VP or 35080V6 then you need a specialist eraser or replace with blank chip

Wrong. Even for those you will need special programmers (Xprog-M, ETL, UPA-USB)

I always change those chips M35080 because if you corrupt the dump your car will not start therefore you can still have legs to stand on instead off asking dk for help.

mate as mentioned above, it is E46, and I have some experienced that this car can start without the instrument cluster, but it cannot start with wrong instrument cluster

100% I know that

and if you put another dash from another car,also can start
only its come little point betwen KM and trip KM,
but when change the chasi nr like in car, then point wil desepired

With version 3 and version 6 35080 by pulling voltage up with enigma you can read and write as normal without taking off the board , a lot of vp can also be done in circuit too with the eraser anything about goes with codiprog off the biard

It starts without instrument cluster I checked but it needs high rev to charge battery .
Chip is m35080 3. Is there any good , checked soft. for my m5080 programmer .I have this one on picture but it always work something with or without programmer?

And there is no way to change km with SEEPROG or UPA?

read eeprom with upa and post dump with current and desired KM

i will edit file for you and then you erase with upa and re-write :)

yes its possible

1) read the eeprom
2) save data
3) modified data & save
4) Load the modified data in UPA hexeditor
5) Click Erase All
6) uncheck Program modified Only
7) Click Program
9) Click Verify to check if the writing is good

do you mean that M35080 can erase by 25080/95080 menu? I know that you can use this in writing new chips or to raise the Value but cannot use in erasing

With the Diga you can carry to zero the M35080, and then, program new dump
