no, it is not possible!

I just finished a VW Bora 1.6 16V IAW4MV today with immo problem.

Please write down what's the problem with the car and I hope I will be able to help you ;)

btw.: read my thread here:

yeah, if the dump is corrupted, just load a new dump into the 95080 - all IAW4MV dumps will be OK

then do the steps written down at the VAG-com site:

1. [Select] -> [01 - Engine] -> [Login - 11]

For the following procedure, use the PIN of the NEW(USED) ECU.

2. [OK] -> VAG-COM will validate the data you have entered and return you to the Login screen, where the Login Code will show as "XXXXX".

[Do it!]

3. [Adaptation - 10] -> Enter 050 in "Channel Number" -> [Read]

For the following procedure, use the PIN of the OLD (ORIGINAL) ECU.

4. [OK] -> VAG-COM will validate the data you have entered and return you to the Login screen, where the Login Code will show as "XXXXX".

[Save] -> [Done, Go Back] -> [Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

5. Switch OFF the ignition and let the car sit for ~1 minute, then switch ON the ignition again.

6. Verify that the NEW (USED) ECU now shows the VIN and if supported IMMO-ID of the vehicle now.

you'll need both the new dump's pin and the old dump's pin - which was in the car - today I've tried with the 4 digit PIN, and it was not successful, but with the 7 digit PIN it did without a problem ;)

you can easily make a 7 digit pin from a 4 digit pin with this programme:
