can i ask how you read the dump. ie direct from chip or via a cable. my little seicento is my testbed for learning interfaces/comunication with ecus. old stuff by todays standards i know but a bit easier.

the car is fiat cincuento.

I need to clone de unit
I upload the picture of the ecu.

shading shows the memory mapping.

and the other seems to be the memory of Realty. (But not 27C512)

Since appearing in the picture is PLCC-32 chip is 7x7x7x7 pins but the chip 27c512 is 7x9 pins.

I can confirm that the chip in the photo is the 7x7x7x7 is of the inmo.

where is the type memory of inmo.

i need to clone the unit of enginers.

Hi, to clone unit You need dumps from EPROM 27C512 (DIP28) and EEPROM from 68HC11F1 (PLCC68).

why clone - just imo off - fiat driver won't notice it's immo off.

Hi, i have 16fm.e6 ecu, do you think need FF in MCU or just unplug immobox?

i read in other post, just unplug immobox...

Or maybe i need FF + unplug immobox and cut a wire?

1) nice to see old threads recycled

2) I had same ecu for same education or entertain reasons, spend hours
In the end it looks great in the bin

3) something about the circuit board uses the case as a bridge for earth
So fit all the screws and bolt down unplug immo box for testing

4) my imganaty friend Vic says the EPROM (rather than eeprom) is just fuel/ignition maps
