hi m8,
no matter what receiver you decide on you will need anouther dish
as the communal dish will be fixed on astra 28e,and will only receive signals
from that satellite and you wont gain anything, i would go for a motorised
system this way you get the best of whats available, the only downside
is that things are changing very fast and we have lost a lot of the channels
and it could get worse, but i'm always opitmistic and say as on door closes anouther opens.and in all the years iv'e spent in this hobby iv'e never been
without something to view, as for receivers everyone has the own views if
you are good at networking a dreambox is a good choice, but if all you want
is as much tv as possible with very little programming then a technomate is
a great choice, but always buy a receiver with card and cam slots this gives
you more choice to get channels open, i'm sure others will offer there views
so you can get all the facts and info before you buy then you will get the
best system for yourself and save money.

Motorised will be best. If you want to cardshare then a dreambox but if you want normal channels and i few extra then a tm5400

If you currently pay for the basic package and you want the premium package for the same price (or free) then you won't get it. You only get what you pay for with Sky, it's not hacked!
