Hello m8s, could I have your expert attention for a sec, please?
How to make a key for Jetta 06 USA (manuf. date 05/08)?
I've got the 4 digit pin with AVDI. I don't have a key learning option though.
Can this be done with T300 or a dealer preprogramed chip only.
I have VW CAN chip.

You don't need a precoded chip for this year. If you have the pin just program with vag com. Sometimes t300 cann't

I think when it is 08 model then he need precoded transponder to car.

Hi,

If you have a 4 digit pin code the transponder is a id:48 magic-2 and not a id:48-CAN (The CAN system as a 5 digit pin code and only 48-CAN have precodification).

You can program your key with T-Code, SBB, AVDI, VAG commander, etc

hi labusas.
If you have the AVDI, use the key programmer to automatically detect the immobilizer system. Add it your PIN, use TP23, and follow the steps.

I hope you have solved the key.

a small comment, which gave me experience.

duplicating a Seat Arosa, gave me headaches and the error was the transponder id48 MAGIC 1 and 2. the two can make 1 but not vice versa.

Seat Arosa dont use any id48, it is phillips transponder!
