hi there. i need to test a chipped golf5 gti file on another gti.. it was red with bdm100 clone tool. i need to right it back to another gti using mpps clone. i dont want to remove the ecu. is it possible to do so. or will i have to remove the ecu to right file. i know bdm100 read both flash and eeprom and mpps only read the flash. thank you guys. keep well. http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif

I would write it using bdm fella not worth risking with clone mpps ,clone bdm will read ecu in case you have problem, write only the flash memory not the mpc555 or EEPROM

Thanks friend. It will be save writing just the flash. Can I also add that the ecu. has been Immo offed. you still think it's save to only write the flash. Thank-you.

read full ecu with bdm so you can return to ori if it fails, then try mpps to write flash
