I have a original Ford Wds diagnostic system here, with software version B43.
Everything exept "module programming" works.
Is there a way to bypass or trick the system into thinking it is properly activated?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

thanks.

Hi i think that the module programming stops working 3 to 6 months after the date of release of disc. You have to uninstall reset date to when software was released install and module programming should be back.

I checked your file and everything is OK. File which I posted should you help.
You still get Section not available when you want enter module programming or other error?
You can run Monitor2k2.exe before starting IDS, then start IDS, try to enter Module Programming,
save log from Monitor2k2, post it here and I can look where is problem.

I looked into log and there is probably change in v72.
Try this.
First locate c:\Program Files\Ford Motor Company\IDS\Runtime\Apps\mcp.ini
In the file should be line with MCP_VERSION_TIMEOUT=120
Change this to MCP_VERSION_TIMEOUT=1200

Today I have downloaded IDS v 72 and looks like that my 71683.tml solve expiry problem. Replace 71683.tml with my patched file and send me new log from Monitor2k2.

Only ini change? Looks like that there is change in 71683.tml, but the file is bad. I attached it again. Try this file.

For version 72 it is necessary change 71863.tml. Use my patched file from my post #16 in this thread.

Where can I D/L the latest working version and fix of IDS for clones?

Also... I have original WDS GNA3500 (B43 / A6 / C5) , my docking station seems to stop working, because when I dock the unit doesnt power up or communicate with PTU. PTU start and load software with code 1028 and 402 ( what those codes mean?). After loading, the RED padlock on the right bottom remind me that the unit only work as oscilloscope and multimeter. I can access WIN98 if I attach a keyboard to PTU. I have also this code after finishing loading software... : TESTMAN 12 56 160115 ANYONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS?

Thanks
