Hey mates,
I wanted to ask you if already someone switched off egr
by using car software v5 correctly?
Cause yesterday I tried to flash it, and a failure occured, so
today i flashed my ori in recovery mode, and I dont want to
do it once again!
Checksum by _EDC 16 is calculated by software normally or? (MPPS, Galetto etc.)
thx, kind regards

If you use MPPS and your EDC16 has 2MB file size (U31 or U34), then you will have problems. I dont know why, but MPPS does not do those files correctly from my experience.

From my experience it's not a rule that mpps has trouble only with 2mb file size. Some time ago mpps had problem with 1mb file but the best way for me was use BDM.
Some 2mb file my mpps read/write perfectly but not always...
WinOls is the cleverest carsoftware.
By the way...
I realised that skipping voltage made problems, when I mount secong battery by read/write process then mpps works stabile.
Good Luck!

This I do always, I stabilize it with a 20A stable power supply ;-) @ nearly 13,8
