Hi Folks,

Been using the site for a few weeks now and would like to thank you for all the info on here.

1) I have recently acquired a Gibertini 1.2 Motorized dish, and I was wondering which box would be best suited to pick up a lot of channels? If i go for a Linux based box such as a DM800 can I store every channel scanned or am I limited to the Bouquets?

2) Is it worth getting a box with Cam slots (Diablo) or is this on its last legs and stick to C/S?

Thanks in Advance

P.S I was looking at a TM7000, how good is this compared to a Vu+ Duo?

1. Yes you can store every channel that you scan and you are not limited to bouquets.

2. Not sure about Diablo but many members on here will know.

If you are looking for a linux hd box then look at this sticky about which one to buy

Welcome to Digital Kaos m8 ...

The Diablo was a good cam in its day ... would not bother now though.

Cheers Guys,

Had a look at the Sticky, seems to be a bit old. Which would you say is the best Linux box out there, and is there any new box worth of note due out soon?
