Vito 639 with OM6.982 manual

Its come in from another garage with lots of lights on, ABS reporting EZS fault etc

EZS seems to have lost its coding or has invalid coding as its reporting no vin and its reporting Diesel but with a petrol engine code

The engine ECU was coded and it seems coded to an automatic as the DTC's on the CDI report it cannot tal to the auto box, which makes sense.

I've managed to (I THINK) to recode the EZS but I cannot program the ECU, it just comes up with lots of errors.

When I open the car in DAS it says the EZS config is still incorrect but it now reports the correct engine code, the vin is still ?????? etc

If I say its correct then I cannot even get to the quick test

If I say its wrong then it lets me talk to the CDI but not read the DTC's anymore.

Anyone got any ideas

AVDI lets me code it, but it doesnt seem to work either

I've managed to get the original EZS unit, which apparantly wasnt that bad anyway.

So maybe if I stick it on, it will let DAS access the correct settings for then engine and allow me to recode it correctly

lol real fun

I've got the old EZS working, and DAS loads without going mad now

I've even got it talking to the EDC16 which is an improvement

yet there are a lot of "unknown" errors in the EDC16 and I still cannot change it to a manual using the variant coding

It only has options for automatic, etc

Anyone have any idea how I might be able to change it via dump? I'll take a dump of the edc16 this afternoon
