1999 Mercedes E -class (W210) Remote key programming

Hello,
Could someone help with the step by step method to be used to program remote key on Mercerdes E - class using transponder chip.(One button flip remote key with transponder)

In fact, following replacement of the batteries in the remote, the remote now will not more activate the central door locks.
When the button is pressed, a red light emitted by the LED in the remote is noticeable, but doors are not operated.

One other things i have noticed on this car is that none of the RED and Green Leds at the interior mirror come on when key is in Ignition or out

2. If transmition present, keep the key in the direction of the mirror and press 2 times the button, then turn the ignition ON. GREEN led must light on.

I'm having the same problem with a 1997 W210. Spare key does not function.

How do I check IR using phone camera. Please help; I'm new to these things.
