I have db800 and cannot get narration turn off. There is no audio button on remote. I am using darkstar2.In av settings AC3 default is set to yes and ac3 downmix is no . I have tried changing these but make no difference.

Also give the remote through your browser a go.

The newer DM800 pro that comes with a black remote doesn't have an audio button. Instead the help button is in it's place.

You can setup the audio options to be hotlinked to another button on the remote though.

i was having same issues so i contacted the seller in china and he told me the reason

they removed the audio button was so they can add 4 more buttons and the new dm800 remote will work with the dm8000 to.

they were having compatibility issues with the audio button sot hey removed you can use yellow button for audio or press help and select audio from their.
