I`m just wondering what`s involved in 2012 passat CC mileage correction and what are the best tools to do it.

Can somebody give me some head ups ???

Smelecom dashcoder dp3 these all do it via obd , however there not cheap Wichita is a good point

I think he mean new model from 2010. 2012 model will be first present at 07.2012

So wake up! Most new models comming in Februar. Have a look at VIN, WVWZZZxxx?xxxxxx!! Always ? is the year. A=2010, B=2011

i think it will be a NEC+24C64 . but why thinking about new models when time come we will know!!

micronas CDC32xx OBD tool has added new audi dashes + NEC 24c32 ,I think they will release more updates for more supported vehicles lsit and more functions too. now version 1.3.1.

So new passat holds the mileage only in the instrument cluster?

dont think so m8, there are other mileage memories but in VW , original doesn't jump back if only dash done. for exemple engine ecu, can gateway, DSG box...

So the dealer can check that other mileage places with the factory scanner
