Orange 5 has just been released, so it might take some time to get response about reliability and functionality.
But i work with Omega for 6 years now, and have never had an issue, i think the new Orange 5 will be excellent programmer.

What exactly do you want to know.
Omega can read Flash, but Orange 5 can not.
Good function of Or5 is the ability to erase m35080.

I have one, it does what it says on the tin mate.
Make sure you buy all the adapters though as it's ISP ability is limited unless you buy the immo+ option with it.

Yes very good programmer faster than original and works everytime

i have one its brilliant it does everything it says ive got all the adapters and the immo software with mine fantastic piece of kit :)

i was doing a renault espace yesterday MC68HC908AZ60
which i struggled to do read but after speaking to Lyubomir who told me to change some settings it worked straight away no sweat at all fantastic tool and support worth every penny :)

If have not managed to read is because they have not experienced and new learning.

To use any programmer need know many ...need know MCU.

All Orange-5 100% tested .
No any problem read 0F10V , 3D33J and 0D69J
0F10V , 3D33J have active WDT !

Select MC68HC05B6 WDT or MC68HC05B8 WDT and use Read comand .
0D69J - have active sec bit .

Use Skip sec buton ...wait , then skip use Read.

Hello, I've two more questions:
1. I would like to buy one of these adapter:

but I don't know if each of it will work with Orange5. Please help me choose. Pins in Orange are 1:1 or I need do some modifications? Please write me also how to insert into socket - where is PIN1 - please see my picture? I need to have external power adapter use also (5V and not less than 500mA)? The switch on the case of the programmer must be in position "N" - when I use position E (when I add power adapter)? Best regards and please help.

orange5 is very good programmer. Most impressive thing about it is the speed, its very fast. In having said that though, just like any programmer, it wont do everything, thats why you need to buy all the programmers and then you have no problems. I rate Orange5 an 8 / 10

u can read incircuit MCU (not secured) and read pins and Immo off for some ecus.....

u can buy also HPX for dashboard. it use scripts like Upa for most popular dashboard.
