super vag k + can

Has anyone tried or got one of these hand held units, if so is it working good? or is it just a hand held version of vag k+can commander?

Either I got a dodgy crappy unit or they are Crappy anyway.

Mine works on KKL cars fine but when connected to CAN cars never got it to work ...ever!

It's almost as if there is very low power to it when running on CAN cars, the display flickers dimly and it can't read pin.

Don't waste your money.

hm, i guess you have bad unit.
Mine does Golf 5 before micronas, mileage and pin works like a charm.

i have Vag K + CAN Commander full 1.4 (China). It seems to work OK. But one function works not: i can't read ECU-DTCs. When i push the button "Read DTCs", there is nothing doing, no DTC-List. And in the ECU are many DTCs.
Now i use the software version 2.5, it works with my 1.4 cable, but the function "read DTCs" works not too.
Can anybody confirm that?

well mine is updated to
v1.5
SN:0000554
and it works very well on most vag cars up to
2006 and same 2007.
is there anyway to upgrade it to new
supervag k can 2.0 plus?????

I have tested this tools with Passat B5, B5+ up to 2005, Audi A8 1998 with M73, Golf IV and V up to 2006, Seat Altea 2007, Skoda Octavia 1998-2006, Audi A6 from 2005 to 2008, Q7 up to 2008, A8 2003-2005. Works fine, but have some troubles. My device now with firmware version 4.8.

! Don`t try to use device on A6 and Allroad cars from 1999 up to 2004MY with VDO Crypto dashboards with eeprom IC 93C86 - it is very dangerous for cluster (DTC 65535)!

In my attachment archive with all versions of firmwares for this tool. (only for old Super VAG K+CAN commander, NOT for new Super VAG K+CAN 2.0 blue). Flashing procedure is simply and downgrade of firmware is possible too.
