This is my first post as a Forum Supporter :beer:
These are the service intervals for Detroit Diesel DD16, DD15, DD13 engines.

Oil, filter and fuel filter maintenance intervals.
To change oil and fuel filter follow these step or bearing damage will occur:
Change oil filter fill with oil start enginel let it run for a couple of minutes.
Then change fuel filters, prime, start let it idle for a minute. Do Not ramp engine right away.
Long haul: 50,000 miles ( over the road transport, mostly highway/interstate miles, more than 60,000 miles a year)
Short haul: 35,000 miles ( vehicles that annually travel up to 60,000 miles or operates 40% of the time under normal conditions)
Severe duty: 25,000 miles ( vehicles that annually travel up to 30,000 miles. They idle 35% of the time)
Coolant maintanance. Pressure test radiator cap every 3 months
Conventional coolant.
Drain and fill coolant every 2 years/300,000 miles.
Coolant sca filter: Replace every 12 months/ 120,000 miles or 2,000hrs.
Long life coolant:
Drain and fill every 4 years/ 600,000 miles. Add inhibitor every 2 years/300,000 miles.
Valve lash adjustment @
60,000 miles
180,000 miles
360,000 miles
540,000 miles
Particulate and Dpf filter maintanance every 300,000 miles.
