hi anyone know where the ecu is on an iveco daily 2.8 w reg 2000 checked in autodata nothing showing also checked under battery nothing there either ? looked all over cant seem to find it ?? any ideas

It is commonrail or mechanical pump?? Ussualy ECU stand near to battery but not under...just a little in right

mechanical pump still no ecu near or under battery anywhere else it can be checked all common places?

i had this problem, turned out there was no ecu in the van just ecu on the pump.

There is an ECU located above the battery or in older models there is no ECU, just glow plug relay located in the same place.

thanks guys but it has an dignostic port surely it must have an ecu if not what does it communicate with etc? nowhere under engine bay nor near the battery etc

diagnostic port is for other control units also like abs and airbag etc, if van has mechanical bosch pump it doesnt have edc unit im afraid..
