Ford Ka 2003. A9A engine code

Hi,
While I was changing motor in Ka, I wanted to disconnect VSS from its plug,but wires disconnected in it...
So I need wiring diagram for Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)

DSC 009 > brown, black-brown, yellow-brown
DSC 010 > magenta, white-blue, black-brown

So, can somebody check for me?

you will have to look to see if the 3 pin plug the wire come out of or the VSS pins are numbered, I dont have anything that will give me wiring color codes

Pin 1 is +12 feed (check with tester, ignition on)
Pin 2 > pin 18 ecm (white and blue wire)
Pin 3 > pin 13 ecm

ECM is ok, but connector that comes from ECM.

Check pics, it's located beyond ECM, near brake jack.



Pin 1,2 & 3 is Pin 1,2 & 3 of the VSS plug the other end of the wire goes to the ECM

OK I don't know the Colours but, according to the wiring diagram you can do this way and see if it helps...


Pin 1 should be 12v (+)
Pin 2 should be Signal wire from ECU Pin # M18
Pin 3 should be Battery (-) Negative which goes to ECU Pin # F23

Have a look on the plug or the VSS and it should be numbered

nope... no numbers only this "<" and "A.8"

You have 9 reply in this post and this is 10th one BUT, in all those post you could not see the RED THANKS button so I don't think you will even be able to see the numbers on the VSS plug.........
