Tried several times (not with this one), but OP-COM never worked for me.

after doin it you must disconnect battery for 5 mins then reconnect then code clears, as ive already said done it myself

Thanks, I'll try with next one, but I'd rather have this one cleared the old-school way ... just in case.

Strange, looks like my dump does not have any crash data at all. Here's full story. Customer had a minor crash, no airbags or pretensioners were deployed. Everything worked normally for about 2 months, when the airbag light showed up. Diagnostics say "Change airbag controller" or something like that, like when they have stored crash data. Does anybody know what to do?

Nope, does not work. It shows 5x error B1000-39 and B3929-00 (this one in Immobiliser). Original dump shows only 1x B1000-39.

Dump attached to this post (made by Ico's airbag cleaner) also does not work. Shows 2x B1000-39. Strange thing is that OP-COM does not show VIN code on SDM, only "". Does someone have virgin dump for this airbag module, so I can configure it with OP-COM?

Forgot to attach the dump by Ico's cleaner. Here it is.

Can anyone check the dump from first post and confirm it contains crash data?

Not sure that contain crash data, it is dump you have attached, the dump you have found in airbag when customer come to you ?
Try to replace eeprom with new one or
try another dump
or buy new controler

Yes. I will try replacing EEPROM, will report.

I have done corsa d, defo was in accident and air bags deployed.
Replaced air bags and cleared crash data with op-com.
No need to dissconect battery, just turn off ign and leave for 2 mins.
Clear fault codes first, then clear deployment record-job done.

Ninja are you using genuine op-com or clone?

I recently replaced airbag kit on a Corsa D 2008, and after reading the eeprom wrote to it with a known good module dump ( no crash data on)

The car would not crank or fire up what so ever.

luckily i had made a backup of the original dump on the module and after writing back it fired up, therefore the modules need programming up to BSI.

If you are using a clone is this possible?

In Corsa D airbag ECU is a part of immobiliser system.I saw somewhere.

hi friends
i confirm ( as olegario said in corsa D airbag control unit is a part of the immobilizer system )
writing eeprom from an other car,s airbag unit will not success because of immobilizer and the used one is programmed with the previous car properties with the security code of the previous car ( i think if you know the security code for the new airbag eeprom and the car security code you can reset the airbag after writing the new dump and program it with the car security code )
it is better repair the original dump or use new virgin dump and you must know the car security code and do airbag programing

You are right

I have recently replaced an CORSA D airbag kit with a good module which had no crash data but obviously was a used module.

Car would not crank or fire up and displayed the vehicle sign with a spanner on the speedometer.

I very much doubt a clone op-com would be capable of adapting a module to the bsi as the module is part of the immobiliser and contains the security code and environment identifier from what i have been told.

NO, OP COM cant code in your used airbag module!!
Use second hand air bags etc but keep your orig module.
Then use op com, orig or clone, to clear crash data as described a few posts up.
Just done another and works a treat.
