what protocol do vag vehicles use when connected to vag com.

it depends of the generation of the car

can be KWP2000 over TP2.0, KWP2000 over TP1.6, UDS over ISO transport protocol (CAN), KWP1281 or KWP2000 over K-Line

can i ask am i right so far that kwp2000 on k line uses the same interface as iso 9141.

Electrical interface for kwp2000 on k line is the same as for iso 9141 (kw1281).
However, there are vehicles that have some modules connected to the l-line as well.
