Hi,

I'm having an issue with my dreambox, i'm unable to get encrypted channels working using my c line from my other box.

It's currently showing that i have the following cams;
CCcam 2.1.4/NewCS 1.67
CCcam 2.1.4/OSCam 0.99.4
CCcam 2.1.4

i also have my cccam.cfg file in the /etc folder.

I'm a little confused on how to diagnose this problem, are there any log files the cams create? How do i know which cam is being used?

EDIT: Sorry the title was meant to be softcam issues!

thanks

do i need those files in order for cccam to work?

might be the server's version of CCCAM... maybe try a earlier version of cccam....

alternatively if that doesn't work, try to uninstall OSCAM.

should be at the addons uninstall panel but i want to understnad something.... are you trying to use 1 cline in two box's.... or a used cline in another box?

its shared on another box, this box is just access the other box so just 1 N line.

so on the other box you have a working cline/nline... you're trying to use that ONE line to view channels on another box in the house.
I think that pretty much goes against every server's policy on cline sharing. One line = 1 box... nothing more nothing less.... you could be blocked off the server.

Sorry i don't think i explained correctly. i have a card in the other which shares to this box. Ive tested another box with the box(with the card in) so i know the box (with the card) is working.

It's just this box.

lol, i think that's a worse attempt to explain it.

I've just reinstalled cccam2.1.4 and now i have all 3 cams back, is this normal?

EDIT: perhaps this is normal, uninstall 2.1.4 and installed 2.2.1 and i have all 3 cams.

Have you put a cline in the cccam.cfg and a fline with the same username and password in the same file on the other box and started the cams are they both 800's or 500's
