TMS370 programmer problem

Hi

Any one know how i can get my TMS370 programer to work with a usb to comport cable,i have no problem if i use my desk top with a comport but it wont communicate on my laptop using the usb cable.

M8, you need real com port, not usb-to-serial adapter.
It will not work... remember only real com.
