Hey mates,

today I tried to flash a Audi A4, 2.0 TDI - 140 HP (MY 2006) with
a tuning file, but everytime I write the file, doesnt matter if ori or modded one, it writes to 50 Percent, jumps to 100% and says completed! (Used Flasher: MPPS 3.0.2.37)

Motor starts after every flash, but Im now not sure if routine is really completed... cause it looks like as "he just flashs the first (1MB)" and skips the rest....

Anyone has an Idea how the 2MB EDC16 works?

Does it work with my Galetto? Cause with Galetto I also can't read the file!

Thx, Kind Regards

If you read that Audi first with your MPPS, then MPPS only writes changes to your original file.

With the same tool I wrote an Audi A6 2.0 TDI 140 bhp, same 2Mb file same way... mine jumped from 70% to 100% the car runs smooth, no problems.

This kind of ECU has 2Mb of flash but every tool read and write only the last 512k block. If you look at the reading you will see that up the address 180000 you will have only FF. If you will read that ecu with bdm you will find data from the beginning of filel. For tuning, the last 512k block is enough. That's why your tool behave like this
