hello
i have bougth fiat km tool from obdauto.com and tool doesnt work .when I conect tool to usb, soft work but has no connection to car.
I try conect to punto 2 but when I put tool on obd socket dashboard dont work and all needle go down.

have you removed R2 120ohm ?

120ohm resistor removal why does it need removing?

the 120 ohm resistor is only nessesary at both ends of a can bus, in a working car they are already present to terminate the can bus and a third resistor inside the interface would disturb the termination value (40 ohm instead of 60 ohm).

just wondered as i have this interface but never used it but atleast if i have any problems with it then it will point me in the right direction

my cable is all closed.. i never saw how it looks inside.. works like a charm.. all needles stay up, and changes very fast.. also using software version 1.4

will this software work on a fiat grande punto year 2008 ??
i need to recalibrate the dash
did someone try it ??
or what soft worked on a grande punto ??

I HAVE PROBLEM WITH FIAT KM TOOL,OPEL EDC16 KM TOOL
I CHANGE ALL RESISTORS,CAPACITOR,MCP2551
WITHOUT dsPIC30F4012 BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE HEX INSIDE
CAN SOME ONE HELP ME
"THE SCRIN RESULT IS ALLWAYS "Comunication error"
